Government Affairs Committee (GAC)

GAC has four standing subcommittees, security, customs, international trade and postal, which address industry issues and seek to resolve them in a way that improves operating conditions for the industry

Airline Liaison Committee
Chair: Matt Groppe, Sky Courier, Inc.

This committee focuses on industry issues with the passenger and cargo airlines; conducts the annual Airline Excellence Survey, which determines award winners as well as exploring opportunities to improve business relationships.

Membership Committee
Chair: Timothy Byrnes, Geopost Americas

This committee identifies needs of the industry, and seeks to provide solutions, programs and services that will both address these needs for members, and works to attract and retain members.
